Chief minister Ashok Gehlot will officially launch the new housing scheme ‘Nilaya Kunj’ of the Jaipur Development Authority on Tuesday. JDA commissioner Sudhansh Pant said the scheme will be launched by the CM in the presence of UDH minister Shanti Dhariwal at the CM’s residence at 9.30 am.
This is the fourth housing scheme being launched by the JDA this year after Swarna Vihar, Harit Vihar and Amrut Kunj. The new scheme is coming up at a 184 bigha land in Murlipura Siroli Dandhli village. It is located about 10 km from Khatipura railway station, 3 km Indira Gandhi Nagar, and 9 km from the Jaipur airport at Sanganer.
The reserve price of land per sq metre is Rs 6,400 but marginal income groups will be given land at a concessional rate of Rs 1600 per sq metre. In addition to 436 plots that will be allotted by a draw of lot, some will be put up for auction for commercial and residential purposes, said Pant. The applications were available from September 15 to October 25 at select branches of Bank of Baroda, HDFC and at bank counters at the JDA premises while the draw will be take place on December 22.
JDC asks engineers to submit plans on water harvesting in a week : Following the incessant rain, JDC Sudhansh Pant reviewed the repairing of the potholes and directed officials to expedite the work. He has given a week’s time to the engineers to identify and plan water harvesting structures on the roadside.
These structures would not only prevent water-logging on the roads but also help in conserving water that otherwise flows into drains. The JDC has asked the engineers to prepare mini proposals.
